India tourist visa e-token from all centres in Bangladesh

India tourist visaIndia tourist visa: All Bangladesh travelers who have confirmed air, bus or train tickets can avail this facility of walk-in tourist visa without appointment dates from 1 February at the Indian Visa Application Centres (IVACs) in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Chittagong, Khulna, Jessore, Mymensingh and Barisal,” said a press release of Indian High Commission.

The date of journey should be within one month of the date of submission of the visa application, the Indian High Commission said in a statement on Sunday.

The walk-in India tourist visa scheme was launched first in October 2016 for female travelers and their family members, and thereafter extended to all Bangladesh travelers from Jan 1 in Dhaka.

Now it is extended further to the remaining eight visa application centers in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Chittagong, Khulna, Jessore, Mymensingh and Barisal.

“This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to streamline, liberalize and ease the process of securing Indian visas,” the high commission statement reads.

Further details are available at www.ivacbd.com.

The scheme has eased access to Indian visas for Bangladesh nationals. No Bangladesh national with a confirmed ticket to India (by air, bus or train) requires an e-token/online appointment date to apply for a tourist visa.
